Thermostats
Nest thermostats do not have a touch screen, just turn the ring up when you want it a little warmer & turn it down when you want it a little cooler. Only adjust it 1-2 degrees at a time & give it 4-6 hours before making another adjustment. Do not change any settings other than the set temperature. We set the living areas on 65 because they warm up to the 70’s during the day due to all of the windows, but feel free to adjust to your comfort. The thermostat screens will display errors when the furnace is heating the hot water, this usually only lasts 10-20 minutes. |
- Living Room Air Conditioner
- The remote is located in the kitchen by the thermostat. To operate, point the remote directly at the unit in the living room. Turn it on by pressing START then use the SET TEMP. button to set the desired temperature.

Neighbors & Noise
We share the beautiful land with multiple neighbors. We ask that you please respect them by keeping the noise level/music outside to a respectable volume. |

Trash
You may leave all trash in the individual cans upon departure. If a can is full, bag up your trash & place in the big trash can in the garage. If you leave more trash than will fit in the big trash can in the garage, there will be an extra trash removal fee of $10/bag. |

TV & Video Streaming
The TV's are equipped with Roku players for watching both live TV & video streaming. If it is freezing up or not streaming video well, Roku may need to be restarted. To do this, click the Home button then go to Settings & select System, System Restart, then Restart. If you are still having problems, the internet router may need to be rebooted. To do this, unplug the power cord from the back of the router & plug back in after 10 seconds. The router is located behind the living room TV. |

AllTrails.com is the best website for hikes around Crested Butte. Here is a map to walk from house down to the Rec Path that leads down to town and up to mountain:

You're welcome to use our sleds, shovels, etc but please leave them as you found them. |

Outdoor Fires
Due to extreme wildfire risk, all outdoor fires must be built in the Solo Stove fire pit. The Solo Stove can be used on the deck if placed on its stand or out in the backyard. Firewood, when available, is in the garage. If we are out, please let us know. A temporary supply can be purchased at Ace Hardware in town. Use the small logs for the Solo Stove and large logs for the fire place inside. |

Indoor Fireplaces
The living room fireplace is a log fireplace (please use the larger logs for the fireplace). The master bedroom has a gas fireplace operated by a remote control. |
BBQ Pit
The BBQ Pit on the back porch is propane. There are extra propane bottles in the garage if needed.
They should be full but can be exchanged for a full bottle at the Ace Hardware in town if not.

Parking
Please use the front driveway for parking - do not park in the garage. Land Trust Please help us honor the Land Trust adjacent to our house (on East side) by not climbing the fence. |
